Developing and Scanning (35mm, B&W, High Res)
Developing and scanning for 35mm black and white film, currently processed using Caffenol development. Each roll is handled carefully through the developing, stop, fixing, washing, and drying stages to keep the results as clean and consistent as possible. Caffenol gives black and white film a slightly more handmade, classic look, with natural contrast and character. It is a good option for anyone who wants their black and white rolls developed locally while still keeping the process simple and accessible. After development, the film is scanned using a Pacific Image PrimeFilm XA Plus dedicated 35mm scanner at 10,000 DPI, giving high-resolution files suitable for archiving, editing, cropping, and making prints. Basic adjustments are included so your photos are ready to view, share, and use. You will receive a .zip file containing high-resolution PNG files and compressed JPEG copies for easier sharing. Please request separately if you would like your scans delivered in any other format. At the moment, black and white development is only available with Caffenol, but Kodak XTOL development is planned to be added soon for those who want a more standard black and white developer option.
Developing and Scanning (35mm, Colour Neg, High Res)

Each roll is handled carefully through the developing, blix, washing, and final stabilising stages to keep the process consistent and reliable. Scanned using a Pacific Image PrimeFilm XA Plus dedicated 35mm scanner at 10,000 DPI, giving the maximum resolution available from this service. This option is best for anyone who wants larger files for archiving, editing, cropping, or making prints. Colour inversion and basic colour correction are included, so your scans are delivered ready to view, share, and use. You will receive a .zip file with High Res PNG and Compressed JPEGs.
